We are currently looking for candidates for the following positons:
Position: Simultaneous Interpreter
Location: Capital Communications Group, Inc., Washington, DC
Duties: Perform simultaneous interpretation in live television shows and conferences. Translate, adapt and originate news and news-related dialog for television and radio under intense time pressure with accuracy, speed and intelligence. Apply sensitivity to cultural native fluency in the broadcasted language including idiom, contemporary nuances and commonly used terms and vocabulary.
Requirements: Master’s degree in Conference Interpretation. Fluency in Arabic and English. Ability to perform simultaneous interpretation from Arabic to English, and vice versa. Understanding of Arab culture, its idiom and nuances.
